OUR Philosophy

We don't believe in crash diets or get-fit-quick schemes

Oslo was founded on the belief that science-based, data-driven training should be clear and accessible for everyone, whether that be the runner fighting to qualify for the Boston Marathon, the mother of three who wants to keep up with her kids, or the newly discovered pickleball player who suddenly wants to go pro.


We believe fitness isn’t about being good at the gym — it’s about having the confidence and ability to do whatever excites you outside of it.

Essential Framework

We do not guess — we assess.

Anyone can ask AI for a workout program, try every weird trend on TikTok, or run till they collapse because it worked for their friend’s-cousin’s-uncle who is now a "millionaire life coach" — but if that worked, you probably wouldn’t be reading this right now. We know everyone is unique and their program needs to be too. 


We use our experience, knowledge, and real data to navigate your programming, experience, and progression. What you need is specific to you and how you develop into your goals is the same. How we program for you is what makes us different. 


OUR DATA

Oslo Movement uses three tools for individualized data analysis: InBody, Calibre, and Kinetisense Assessment Movement System (KAMS).


InBody — a non-invasive body composition analysis that measures metrics such as muscle mass, body fat percentage, and water distribution using bioelectrical impedance. These insights help us better understand your progress and refine your program for meaningful, lasting change.


Calibre — a wearable metabolic testing device that provides real-time data on oxygen consumption, energy expenditure, and how your body uses fuel during rest and exercise. With data about VO₂ max, resting metabolic rate, and over 30 other metrics, we can give more thoughtful and accurate information about what training is most beneficial for you and if you are achieving those peak metrics you hope to reach. 


KAMS — a movement screening tool that evaluates balance, mobility, stability, and coordination across your movement patterns. It captures video, provides immediate feedback, and generates a customized report that helps us design a program that targets your needs and imbalances and supports better movement and long-term health.

InBody

A body composition analyzer that provides detailed insights into muscle mass, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle and more.

Calibre
A metabolic analyzer that measures oxygen consumption, energy expenditure, and fuel usage in real time.

Kinetisense Assessment Movement System

KAMS is a movement assessment that analyzes balance, mobility, and stability through video and everyday movement.
